STDs and STIs
STDs (sexually transmitted diseases) and STIs (sexually transmitted infections) are more common than you may think. Some are dangerous and can lead to infertility and other problems that can last a lifetime without treatment. Some STDs/STIs have no symptoms but can be causing permanent damage internally. If you are sexually active, you could be at risk. If you think you may have an STD/STI, come in and see us.
We provide FREE & CONFIDENTIAL STI testing and treatment for two of the most common STIs: chlamydia and gonorrhea.
- All STI testing and treatment is always FREE & CONFIDENTIAL.
- Testing is done using a urine sample which tests for chlamydia & gonorrhea.
- Testing is done at a separate facility and test results take approximately 48 hours, so you will need to return on a separate day to discuss the results and receive treatment (if indicated).
- Since it can take awhile for STIs to show up on testing, it is best to wait about 21 days (3 weeks) since sexual contact to be tested.
